Bones, Fur, and Storytelling

Kids ages 5-12 years old gathered at Hometown Bank, Jane Missiouri to view, touch, and hear stories about animal bones and fur. The collection of items is one of the most extensive of it's kind in the state of Missouri, and is owned by retired McDonald County school teacher, and story-teller extordinaire Mrs. Rebbeca Hall. Those attending listened eagerly of tales of buffalo, armadillo, snakes, wild boar, and numerous other critters about their unique habits, peculiar features, and Mrs. Hall aquired them. Many homade leather clothing, tanned pelts and skins were present for everyone to touch and feel the different tyoes of fur. Nearly all the items were preserved by Mrs. Hall herself! Needless to say, the kids had an interesting evening, leared a ton of facts, all wich would have impressed even Daniel Boone himself......
